Harvesting Labourer Wanted at Qiao's Grand Courtyard Group Ltd.

 

Located at the picturesque tip of the Niagara Peninsula, known as "wine country," Qiao's Grand Courtyard Group Ltd. is a premier vineyard and leisure destination. With 13.5 acres of Cabernet Franc vineyards, 13 acres of native forest, and an additional 110 acres of vineyards managed by our subsidiaries, our estate is committed to producing exceptional wines, including our Wellife and Demour ice wine series, which have earned high acclaim in mainland China. We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Harvesting Labourers.

 

Position: Harvesting Labourer

Location: 92 Line 4 Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

Employment Type: Full-Time, 30 hours per week

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare soil and irrigation systems to support vineyard operations.
  • Plant, fertilize, prune, and harvest grapes, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Sort, weigh, and pack grapes for processing, particularly for our premium ice wine production.
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates and supplies within the vineyard and production areas.
  • Perform general cleanup of vineyard and harvest areas, including maintaining bins and trays.
  • Assist in maintaining farming equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in the upkeep of our estate’s native forest areas to support ecological sustainability.
  • Record daily progress and inventory of harvested crops, reporting any issues affecting yield or quality.

 

Qualifications:

  • No formal education or previous experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labour tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to follow health and safety protocols strictly.
