  Job Description

The Family is seeking a dedicated and caring full-time Childcare Provider to take care of our 6-year-old child. If you are passionate about childcare and meet the qualifications listed below, we would love to hear from you.

Job Duties:

• Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping

• Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods

• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment at home

• Organize activities such as games and outings for children

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Supervise and care for the child

• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child


Salary: $20.85 per hour


Schedule:

• 30 hours per week, permanent, full-time

• Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed


Requirements:

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)

• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role

• License/Certification: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate

• Commute/Relocate: Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Maple, ON (L6A 4K3) before starting work
