  Job Description

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene to ensure comfort and dignity.
  • Provide reminders for prescribed medications, assist with medication intake when required, and observe for any unusual reactions or side effects to report to family or supervisors.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements, assist with feeding if necessary, and ensure proper hydration throughout the day.
  • Support clients with mobility, including walking assistance, transferring between bed and chair, and the safe use of mobility aids, while helping to prevent falls and injuries.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying living areas, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
  • Provide companionship by engaging in conversation, accompanying clients to appointments or activities, and offering emotional support to promote overall well-being.
  • Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or living environment to the appropriate person
  • Assist with organizing daily routines and encouraging independence where possible
  • Requirements:

    High school diploma

    Experience is an asset

    Salary: $21 per hour
