This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of oyster production and ensuring our farm operates smoothly.Key Responsibilities· Harvest oysters from our aquaculture sites using various tools and techniques· Sort and grade oysters based on size, quality, and market specifications· Clean harvested oysters and prepare them for transportation to processing facilities· Maintain and clean harvesting equipment, including boats and oyster cages· Monitor oyster beds for health and growth, reporting any abnormalities to supervisors· Assist in the seeding and transplanting of oysters as part of our cultivation cycle· Participate in routine maintenance of farm infrastructure, such as floats and longlines· Keep accurate records of harvest yields, oyster conditions, and environmental factors· Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations in oyster farming· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain farm efficiency Qualifications & Skills· No Formal Education Required.· Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions· Comfortable working on or near water· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly· Team player with good communication skills.
